Project Overview
School libraries are core quiet reading spaces for students. Daily footstep noise, page-turning sound, talking noise and external corridor noise easily break the quiet reading atmosphere. Hard interior decoration leads to subtle noise amplification and continuous background noise, affecting students’ reading concentration and learning efficiency. This project carries out overall low-noise acoustic optimization, effectively reducing space reverberation, isolating external noise and building a stable, quiet and comfortable academic reading environment.
Key Project Challenges
1. Ultra-low background noise requirement Library requires extremely quiet environment with high sensitivity to subtle noise.
2. Accumulated weak noise interference Continuous low-volume noise such as walking and whispering affects long-term reading.
3. Large-space diffuse sound reflection Open bookshelf layout causes disordered sound reflection and difficult noise dissipation.
4. High-grade, elegant and silent aesthetic standard Acoustic treatment must be low-key, integrated and consistent with scholarly atmosphere.
